Victorian Royalty:
The Royal Family

Home > Victorian Royalty > The Queen & Her Family > The Royal Family

I can't resist opening this section with an image of Queen Victorian with her nine children, six of their spouses, and 23 grandchildren - presumably the total as of 1877, when this was published in Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper. Ultimately Victorian had 42 grandchildren and 87 great-grandchildren. Her children (Dukes and Duchesses all) made regular appearances in Victorian magazines; the only surprise here is that this section isn't any longer!
