Peterson's, of course, was Godey's biggest competitor, with very similar (and perhaps even more elegant) hand-tinted fashion plates. This collection brings you over 900 fashion images from the years 1858, 1866, 1872, 1879 and 1883 - including 58 full-color prints. Styles range from classic antebellum crinolines to the straight skirts and bustles of the 1880's. The collection also includes children's fashions, hats, and more.
